36,000 feet above, thy virgin eyes are exposed to a mystic land never-seen-before. Absorbing the opulent panorama that the venerable mother nature hast presented; one starts to believe that fairies and angels do indeed frolic in this fantasy shangrila.

9,000,000 dead men equal 1,350,000,000 pounds of bone and flesh, 27,900,000 pounds of brain matter, 11,250,000 gallons of blood, 414,000,000 years of life that will never be lived!
...and that's just world war I
:peace:
Straight shot as in it was what I saw? Almost. Even this picture doesn't do justice to what I saw up there...

Heh thanks. Yeah this IS a straight shot. I didn't crank up the saturation or contrast like mad. Post processing was just some sharpening and curve adjustment to try to fit the wide exposure range human eyes are capable of (but even so, no amount of tweaking or muliple exposure combos or even graudated ND filter will match the power of the human eye).

Man, that's one breath taking view. The colours are absolutely marvelous. Those cloud masses look great.
OMG so that is a strait shot, non-manipulated photo then? Where did you take this?
on a B747-400 plane in transit from Tokyo to Hawaii. While everybody was sleeping i was walking around the plane trying to find a view that would portray what I saw...if only you guys could be on that plane with me. Totally breath taking,
